Recorded Webinar: Leveraging Credentials to Earn Your CFP® Certification Faster
Do you have an existing financial services designation like CLU, ChFC, CFA® or CPA? Do you write comprehensive financial plans in your practice? If so, are you interested in streamlining your path to CFP® certification? In this webinar recorded May 12, 2016, John Loper, CFP®, CFP Board Director of Corporate Relations details opportunities that permit some candidates to waive parts of the Education Requirement, allowing them to sit sooner for the CFP® Examination:
- Qualifying for CFP Board Challenge Status allows you to waive the core CFP® education curriculum
- The Capstone Course Alternative is a new option that allows you to waive the final capstone course requirement, as long as you’ve already met the experience requirement.
Please note that to qualify for these accelerated pathways you need to have one of the following designations or degrees: Licensed attorney, CPA, ChFC, CLU, CFA®, Ph.D. in business or economics, or a Doctor of Business Administration.
