Virtual Forums on Sanction Guidelines and Fitness Standards

CFP Board recently launched a Commission on Sanctions and Fitness to review and recommend changes to CFP Board’s Sanction Guidelines and Fitness Standards. To begin the Commission’s work of gathering input from the public and financial planning profession, CFP Board hosted two virtual forums in February 2021 where CFP Board staff shared an overview of the Sanction Guidelines and Fitness Standards and solicited audience feedback and input on key issues facing the Commission. Input from the audience has been shared with the Commission members as they have begun their work to review and recommend changes to these important documents.
